BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of an assigned Director or Supervisor, serve as an Event Planning Specialist II. Perform a wide variety of responsible administrative support functions of a complex nature with knowledge of principles and techniques used in planning, coordinating and servicing multiple events, in County, regional and state programs or functions; assist supervisor with various budget planning, preparation and monitoring activities without direct supervision. Qualifications are any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school, passing the Stanislaus County Office of Education Event Planning Specialist Exam and three years of responsible secretarial or event planning experience. College-level course work in business office management or related field desirable.
