Basic Function: Under the general direction of the Director of Safe and Supportive Schools, coordinates all phases of planning and implementing services for the foster youth and homeless education grant programs; performs technical duties in serving as a liaison between schools, group homes, placing agencies, shelters and other community supports to ensure the educational needs are met for students in foster care or those experiencing homelessness. Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and three years of experience working with foster youth, homeless students, at-risk youth or similar programs. Prior experience coordinating school related projects and a bachelor's degree in a closely related field is desirable.
