We are currently looking for a Project Administrator to join our team in Muscatine, IA. This position is responsible for working with our Specifications Writer and Engineers to ensure project specifications are accurately developed for a large range of multidisciplinary projects.

We are currently looking for a Project Administrator to join our team in Muscatine, IA. This position is responsible for working with our Specifications Writer and Engineers to ensure project specifications are accurately developed for a large range of multidisciplinary projects.
Essential Duties:
- Develop project specifications based on information and markup from engineers and designers
- Process and assemble project specifications and related documents for internal review and client submittals
- Coordinate specifications with project teams while working in a fast pace, multidiscipline, and teamwork environment
- Perform general administrative duties to document Project Manuals in accordance with company and client requirements
- Organize and maintain Project Manual files of completed project manuals
- Assist project team members with information retrieval
- Verify that project manuals adhere to company policies and procedures
- Provide backup in Department Manager’s absence
- Attend project team meetings
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
- Associate degree in applied sciences or related field preferred
- Proficiency with relevant software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat is required. Experience with SpecsIntact editing software is preferred
- This job requires excellent communication and documentation skills, a focus on details, and an individual capable of performing with limited supervision
- Must be highly organized with the ability to assist various project managers with day-to-day coordination of project manuals.
- Must be capable typing and integrating accurate edits into project documents as well as quality checking for typographical and grammatical correctness
