Located at our corporate headquarters, in Dublin, Ohio, in this role, you will lead by supervising, developing, and monitoring the performance of Dispatch Managers while ensuring every dispatch center operates at peak efficiency.
You will provide technical support for branch operations, tackling challenges and keeping processes on track. And when needed, you’ll roll up your sleeves to assist the Dispatch Teams, because true leadership is rooted in teamwork and collaboration

Qualifications:
- Experience in Dispatch field or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to train, develop, and mentor a team to achieve operational success.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with management and customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.
- Sales and basic mathematic skills.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training or meetings.
Requirements:
Dispatch Management –
- Effectively oversee and manage Dispatch Managers across all dispatch centers, ensuring consistent performance and operational efficiency.
- Train and develop Dispatch Managers to enhance their knowledge of best practices, ensuring reliable service delivery and optimal coverage for Branch personnel and customers.
- Communicate with Branch Operations and Branch Management on efficiency across all dispatch centers.
- Communicate with Contact Center Managers to exchange feedback and identify opportunities to enhance business processes.
- Recognize and share customer compliments regarding crew performance with staff and Dispatch Managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance to Dispatch Managers with addressing challenging situations, including customer complaints, unsatisfactory work, crew health issues, or sensitive operational matters.
- Ensure dispatch processes, policies, and procedures comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Data Administration –
- Computer Literacy: knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Oversee the accurate collection and documentation of key job completion details, including meter readings, mileage, job totals, additional charges, and payment types, ensuring all information is recorded in PowerMagic.
- Manage and monitor credit and card transactions to maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Vehicle Dispatching & Route Building
- Leverage expertise in the PowerMagic dispatch system to efficiently perform job functions and train other dispatchers to achieve operational excellence.
- Communicate daily workload updates to office staff, encouraging the acceptance of same-day work to optimize time slots, and areas of need, and maximize daily sales volume.
- Oversee job routing to enhance operational efficiency, reduce driving distances, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Continuously monitor crew status to ensure smooth workflow and timely updates.
- Provide crew members with accurate and comprehensive customer and job information to facilitate successful job completion.
- Assist dispatchers and crew members with accurate directions to destinations, offering safety reminders as needed to promote a secure and efficient work environment.
Customer Service-
- Ensure Dispatch teams effectively communicate crew status to customers, including updates on arrival times, delays, early arrivals, or other essential information.
- Oversee and monitor customer communication to confirm job appointments for the following workday, ensuring clarity and reliability.
- Provide support to Dispatch Teams as needed to address challenges and maintain operational efficiency.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team success.
