The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for driving brand visibility and sales growth across e-commerce and offline channels by developing and executing optimized marketing strategies to enhance consumer experience and meet business objectives. This role bridges the gap between marketing and sales, ensuring campaigns and promotions align with brand strategy and retailer / consumer needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning and Execution :
- Develop and execute trade marketing strategies to achieve sales and market share targets.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective promotional plans tailored to each channel (e.g. e-commerce and offline channels).
- Analyze consumer needs and shopping behaviors to create customized promotional plans.
- Promotion and Campaign Management :
- Plan, execute integrated promotion campaigns across e-commerce and offline channels.
- Design POS (Point of Sale) materials and promotional tools to support sales channels.
- Track the effectiveness of promotions and recommend improvements.
- Channel Management :
- Work closely with key accounts, distributors, and retailers to ensure alignment of brand objectives with customer strategies.
- Manage and optimize product pages and campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Oversee product placement, in-store displays, and merchandising to optimize the shopper experience.
- Budget Management :
- Develop and manage the trade marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI for campaigns.
- Track expenses and provide regular budget reports to stakeholders.
- Propose resource allocation strategies to maximize returns on investment.
- Data Analysis and Reporting :
- Analyze sales data, trade marketing KPIs, and market performance to evaluate campaign success.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management and suggest actionable recommendations.
- Team Collaboration :
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales) to ensure seamless execution of trade activities.
- Train and guide field sales teams on trade marketing initiatives and tools.
