GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for assisting with general admission processes. This includes assisting with application processing, entering high school transcripts, continuing education registration, and other admission office functions. This position reports to the Director of Admissions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Associate degree
- Minimum of 1 year experience in clerical or data entry in a business or educational setting
Preferred:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
- Experience working in an NC Community College Admissions Office
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Intermediate computer proficiency skills
- Confidentiality as it relates to student data.
OTHER DUTIES
- Assist with customer service in Eagle’s One Stop including registering continuing education students.
- Assist current and prospective students with the completion and troubleshooting of the admissions and residency determination applications.
- Assist with collecting and processing admission related documentation.
- Serve as backup for admissions office.
