Key Responsibilities
Culinary Leadership:
- Develop and execute an innovative pastry and dessert menu that aligns with the hotel’s luxury standards.
- Ensure the highest quality and consistency of all pastry items, including plated desserts, breads, viennoiserie, and specialty cakes.
- Experiment with modern and classic techniques to create visually stunning and flavorful desserts.
- Oversee daily pastry kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, cost controls, and ordering of pastry-specific ingredients and equipment.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B team to enhance menus and guest experiences.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a talented pastry team, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and develop growth opportunities for staff.
- Inspire and motivate the team to uphold the hotel’s reputation for outstanding culinary offerings.
- Customize pastry offerings for VIP guests, special events, and seasonal promotions.
- Work closely with marketing and events teams to create signature desserts and pastry-related experiences.
- Maintain a strong presence in the dining areas to interact with guests and receive direct feedback.
- The starting rate for this position is $114,000 per year, plus incentive. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to train and inspire a team.
- Knowledge of international pastry trends and dietary requirements (vegan, gluten-free, etc.).
- Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for Culinary.
