You will also support business development and growth by engaging with key clients, creating technical differentiators for our water treatment pursuits, and supporting a strong industry brand and presence.This position is open to any of our locations across North AmericaPrimary Focus AreasCommunity of Practice– Lead and develop a community of practice that shares knowledge and leverages subject matter experts and thought leadership to position, win, deliver, and innovate in the sector. Attract and recruit top talent to Stantec, and proactively develop our team within the sector through mentorship, coaching and career development.Strategy – Maintain knowledge of sector-related industry drivers and trends, regulations, and technologies across North America and globally. Use this knowledge to (1) identify and prioritize opportunities to support our clients with emerging challenges; (2) strategically grow our technical capabilities and people resources to meet client needs; and (3) foster a strong industry brand that differentiates Stantec among our peers.Branding – Develop and implement branding strategies to promote Stantec and the sector in the industry. Provide thought leadership and take on leadership roles in national and international professional trade organizations. Manage effective conference participation, within North America and abroad, to maximize and elevate Stantec’s brand presence.Delivering Excellence – Recruit and retain a distributed team of exceptional sector professionals, across all career levels and geographies. Connect sector practitioners with project managers and delivery experts to plan and deliver high quality, innovative solutions.
