The Role:

We are currently seeking a Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to join our team! In this role you will build and maintain a strong safety culture that will ensure we are compliant with all applicable safety rules and regulations. You will also provide quality awareness and support to both our Sparta and Chippewa Falls locations.

Key Safety Responsibilities:

• Review and update policies to ensure compliance and protect employees
• Conduct safety training sessions for all employees
• Investigate and document any workplace accidents or injuries
• Oversee employee safety committee
• Complete mock audits to ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and HACCP
• Manage communication and record keeping as it relates to audits

Key Quality Assurance Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and/or conduct quality training sessions for all employees
• Develop, maintain, and share continuous improvement metrics
• Manage inspections and audits
• Develop and implement product quality programs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in industry related field for health and safety or industrial hygiene
• 5 years of related work experience in safety and quality assurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and organized
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations
• Driver’s license with good driving record
• Must be willing to travel to Chippewa Falls location on a weekly basis
