Order Fulfillment Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Order Fulfillment Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our order fulfillment process. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are processed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. You will lead a team, coordinate with various departments, and ensure the optimization of the fulfillment operations to meet customer expectations and company standards.

Hourly Rate: $28

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment Oversight:
  Manage and monitor the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently.

• Team Management:
  Supervise, train, and motivate the order fulfillment team to ensure high productivity, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Process Improvement:
  Continuously evaluate and improve fulfillment processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and increase customer satisfaction. Implement best practices and ensure consistent quality.

• Inventory Coordination:
  Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure stock levels are accurately tracked and orders are fulfilled without delays due to stock shortages.

• Shipping Coordination:
  Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure timely dispatch of orders, verify shipping schedules, and address any shipping issues that may arise.

• Customer Service:
  Address and resolve customer inquiries or issues related to order fulfillment, including late shipments, missing items, and incorrect orders.

• Order Tracking and Reporting:
  Oversee order tracking and status updates to ensure customers are informed of their order progress. Prepare regular reports on fulfillment metrics, including order accuracy, shipping timelines, and team performance.

• Compliance and Safety:
  Ensure that all order fulfillment operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Maintain a safe working environment for all team members.

• Performance Metrics:
  Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the order fulfillment team, including order accuracy, shipping times, and overall productivity.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of order fulfillment processes, inventory management, and shipping logistics.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
• Proficient in order management and inventory software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
