We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Marketing Assistant to join our product marketing team. In this role, you will assist in the development and execution of product marketing strategies to promote our products and drive sales. You will work closely with product managers, sales teams, and other departments to ensure that marketing initiatives align with the company's goals and objectives. Your attention to detail, creativity, and passion for products will help us effectively reach and engage our target audience.
Hourly Rate: $30–$32 (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Product Promotion:
Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote products and ensure they resonate with target audiences.Market Research:
Conduct research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities to help inform product positioning and messaging.Content Creation:
Support the creation of marketing materials, including product brochures, web content, email campaigns, and social media posts that highlight product features and benefits.Product Launch Support:
Help coordinate product launches, including preparing promotional materials, updating websites, and managing product-related communications.Sales Support:
Collaborate with sales teams to provide them with the necessary product information, sales tools, and resources to effectively sell products.Product Messaging & Positioning:
Assist in refining product messaging and positioning to ensure consistency across all marketing channels.Campaign Analytics & Reporting:
Monitor and track the performance of marketing campaigns, using analytics tools to measure key metrics like reach, engagement, and conversions, and provide reports on campaign success.Customer Feedback:
Collect and analyze customer feedback to help improve product offerings and enhance marketing efforts.Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams such as design, product management, and sales to ensure that all marketing efforts align with the overall product strategy.Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the product marketing team, such as scheduling meetings, organizing marketing materials, and maintaining campaign calendars.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with product marketing, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Creative thinking and a passion for promoting products.
- Previous internship or experience in product marketing is a plus.
