We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will assist in managing and growing our social media presence across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more. Your creativity, strong communication skills, and understanding of social media trends will help create engaging content, grow our online community, and support our brand’s digital marketing efforts.
Hourly Rate: $30–$32 (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Scheduling:
Assist in creating engaging social media content, including graphics, posts, stories, and videos, and schedule content for posting across various platforms.Community Engagement:
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media, engaging with our audience and building a positive community.Social Media Strategy Support:
Support the development and execution of social media strategies that align with brand goals and objectives.Content Calendar Management:
Assist in maintaining a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting across all platforms.Analytics & Reporting:
Help track social media performance, including engagement, reach, and conversions, and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.Trend Monitoring:
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and suggest new strategies for improving our social media presence.Campaign Support:
Assist in executing paid social media campaigns, including creating ads, setting up campaigns, and tracking performance metrics.Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking.
- Creativity and the ability to develop visually appealing and engaging content.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior internship or experience in social media marketing is a plus but not required.
