Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Entry- to intermediate-level construction
- Activities include (but are not limited to):
- Remodel site prep
- Demolition
- Rough plumbing
- Rough electrical
- Trim/Base
- Drywall (hanging)
- Hanging fixtures - mirrors, blinds, hooks etc.
- Light framing
- Paint touch ups
- Subfloor repair
- Finish work
- Small flooring projects
- Installing appliances/furniture (ex: bathroom vanities, dishwashers, ranges etc.)
- Cabinet Install
- Communicating clearly and consistently with remodel superintendent

Requirements
At Star, we believe attitude is everything. We are looking for someone with remodel experience, however we're willing to train the right candidate. This is a position that could grow into a larger role in our team, therefore we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do and someone willing to do what it takes to bring us all to the next level.
- Hard working, reliable, team-oriented, willing to be flexible
- Reliable transportation - we work all over the Reno / Sparks area, and you will be moving between different projects each week
- Client service oriented - we set a high bar of service with our clients and expect all our employees exhibit excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail - quality is the cornerstone of our business so we need someone who values perfecting every detail
- We work efficiently but make sure we're always putting in the effort to do work the correctly the first time, no shortcuts
- Construction experience strongly preferred - we're looking for someone who is skilled and handy, however attitude is the most important and we're willing to train the right team member
- You have the tools for the job (hammer, drills, etc.) ... experience with tools is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
