The Business Funds Specialist position is included in a workplace model that allows for a combination of in-office and remote work.

As a Business Funds Specialist, essential responsibilities include:

• Analyze and interpret loan documents to ensure funding requirements are met prior to disbursement of funds (Borrowing Base Certificates, financial reporting, covenants, Merchant invoices, Dealer Trust receipts).
• Process funding requests within the established Service Levels.
• Correspond with Management and Regional Presidents for funding requests outside of established procedures and/or Bank Credit Policy. Track exceptions for Asset Quality Committee.
• Verify data integrity of system reports researching any discrepancies and making any required adjustments as needed to ensure accountability of system.
• Credit Bureau Reporting.
• Bad Debt processing from the direction of the Asset Team.
• Provide guidance to bankers and their commercial loan specialists as needed.
• Work collectively to solve unanticipated issues.

Skills Needed

• Demonstrated software skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Strong detail orientation for accuracy in processing and reconciliation.

• Excellent interpretive and analytical skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to work with multiple priorities.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
