Introduction :
We are seeking a Vice President of Operations (VP of Ops) to join the STAR team. This person will play a pivotal role in driving the operational excellence and growth at STAR. This leader will embody servant leadership principles, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. The VP of Ops will focus on cross-functional operational initiatives, advancing technology to support organizational growth, managing change effectively, building bench strength, and demonstrating outstanding communication skills. A consultative and growth mindset is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the companys growth objectives
- Collaborate with other executives to align operational goals with overall business strategy
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Lead change initiatives to support the companys growth and transformation
- Align initiatives and advancement with company OKRs
- Drive team ownership of initiatives and outcomes with meaningful conversations to support the growth of the team while driving towards the completion of OKRs
- Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth transitions
- Implement and monitor key measures to drive performance
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate new technologies seamlessly
- Partner with the team and key leaders to identify and implement advanced technologies to enhance manufacturing processes
- Build and nurture a strong leadership bench through mentoring and development programs
- Identify and develop high-potential employees for future functional and leadership roles
- Foster a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and innovation
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to manage expectations and mitigate resistance
- Maintain open and transparent communication with all levels of the organization
- Represent the company in industry forums and build strong external relationships
