Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Traveler Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills to provide high-quality medical assistance.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care in various settings such as inpatient units, home care, and outpatient clinics
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with procedures such as dialysis, ophthalmology exams, and pediatric assessments
- Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe healthcare environment
- Care for patients across different age groups including infants, children, and adults
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Handle critical care situations with efficiency and professionalism
Requirements
- Possess a valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Previous experience in areas such as pediatrics, critical care, or infant care is preferred
- Strong understanding of nursing principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new healthcare protocols
