Job Type: Contract 9 weeks
Shift timings : Night shift /6:00 PMEnd6:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hrs. per week
Pay Rate : $48/hr.

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Albuquerque,NM87114, is responsible for providing basic medical care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians. Their duties include monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily activities, administering medications, and maintaining patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Monitoring: Regularly assess and record patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Daily Care Assistance: Support patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Patient Records: Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Communication: Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss patient progress and any concerns.
• Patient Education: Provide information to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensure: Active LPN license in AlbuquerqueNM87114.
• Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
