Description

  • Administrative Support : Provide general administrative assistance to the HR department, including scheduling meetings and events, managing calendars, handling HR correspondence, and maintaining organized files both physically and electronically.
  • Employee Records Management : Assist with the preparation and maintenance of employee records, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Recruitment Support : Help coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and assisting with onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Compliance & Reporting : Assist in tracking and ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and employee benefits programs. Prepare and maintain reports as needed.
  • Employee Engagement & Communication : Serve as a point of contact for employees on HR-related inquiries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and benefits. Help organize employee engagement activities and initiatives.
  • Training Assistance : Assist in scheduling and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and other professional development activities for employees.
  • Confidentiality : Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee information and sensitive company data.
  • Other HR Duties : Support the HR department with ad hoc tasks, projects, and initiatives to improve departmental effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or HR-related experience preferred.
  • Skills :
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Experience with HR software (HRIS) is a plus.
  • Bi-lingual in both English and Spanish is required.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Positive attitude with a strong customer service orientation.
