Job Description
OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of the Star Plastic Surgery Chief Medical Officer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of customer service and administrative tasks essential for managing patient care and ensuring a positive experience for patients and callers. We are really looking for someone who has a very positive and can-do attitude.
OPEN MON-FRI 9:00 AM-5:30 PM and SATURDAYS 9-1 PM. (Must be willing to work SOME SAT's).
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:
· Assist with answering incoming telephone calls/ emails/ other forms of lead contact.
· Greet patients and other reception duties, such as scheduling appointments, providing patients with information, explaining services, and collecting payments.
· Performs MA duties for 2 physicians.
· Positive "can-do" attitude is a must!
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Understanding of the principles and processes for providing friendly and quality customer service.
· Experience with laws related to HIPAA, patient and employer confidentiality.
· Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
· Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
· Skill in communicating effectively with employees and our patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Attention to detail is a must!
· Medical Assistant Certification or 2 years nurse assisting experience.
· At least one year experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
· Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
· Formal computer training or equivalent work experience.
· Understands medical terminology and anatomy.
Pay is based upon your experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
