What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic III position at Star Staffing?
We are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery and pipeline distribution systems
- Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment with minimal lost time
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Assist the Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor in the creation of written work procedures, guidelines, training materials, other departmental resources as requested or outlined by management.
- Electrical: complete electrical projects independently or in collaboration with other EMF department members, including:
- Work on low voltage circuits
- Work on 120 volt single phase circuits
- Work on 208 volt single and 3 phase circuits
- Plumbing: complete plumbing projects independently or in collaboration with other EMF department members, including work on valves, pipes, pressurized lines, and faucets. Communicate with affected employees around work areas
- HVAC: complete basic HVAC projects as directed, such as changing filters and managing changes to building thermostats as directed
- Elevated work: complete occasional, basic projects at elevated heights or elevated work stations; includes certification and safe operation of scissor lift and adherence to all fall protection requirements
- Soldering pipes: complete soldering projects as directed by Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor or the Director of Engineering, Facilities & Maintenance
- Welding: complete ARC welding projects (steel, stainless steel, and/or TIG) as directed by Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor or the Director of Engineering, Facilities & Maintenance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
Salary : $38 - $40
