What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Director position at Star Valley Health?
While upholding the Star Valley Health mission, vision and values this key position is responsible for directing the performance and maintaining the marketing department. This includes but is not limited to the collaboration, creation, implementation, and monitoring of the organizations strategic marketing plan. Includes continual tracking of key indicators to ensure service line growth and positive return on marketing investment. Oversees promotional event and improves patient trust and retention. Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, have a positive attitude, a tireless work ethic and an unlimited desire to succeed. Must insure that all state and federal laws are met. This is an at-will position.
Job Duties
- Knowledge and utilization of leadership, management and teambuilding tools to ensure department personnel as well as other SVMC staff work together towards success.
- Coordinate the development of the strategic marketing plan with the organizations objectives and budget in mind.
- Management and implementation of the strategic marketing plan. This will include but not limited to traditional social and digital campaigns along with a reputation management program and events through the marketing department.
- Creation and distribution of all marketing materials in line with marketing goals.
- Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
- Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications to ensure a positive ROI.
- Maintain effective internal communications and relationships to ensure that all relevant staff are kept informed of marketing objectives and activities.
- Analyze potential strategic partner relationships for strategic marketing plan.
- Communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project goals, as well as to brainstorm fresh strategies.
- Direct the hiring, training and performance evaluations of marketing staff, and oversee their daily activities.

Comply with HIPAA and other local, state and federal regulations.
Experience & Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication or related field.
3 years integrated marketing/communication experience (traditional and non-traditional).
Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud and social media platform knowledge.
Proven success in development of multi-channel advertising, marketing, web and social media campaigns.
SEO, Google Analytics, reputation management program execution proficiency preferred, but not required.
