Starcast Group is looking for a young agile, dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our growing team. As a national leader in the collection industry, we pride ourselves on delivering innovative solutions to our clients. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating agile development processes, ensuring that the team adheres to Agile principles and practices while delivering high-quality results. You will act as a servant leader, guiding and supporting a cross-functional team to maximize productivity and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as you'll be collaborating closely with various stakeholders, ensuring that the team is aligned and focused on delivering value to our customers.
Responsibilities- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.
- Support the product owner in managing the product backlog and prioritizing tasks for the development team.
- Remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress and resolve any conflicts that arise.
- Coach team members in Agile principles, practices, and values to improve team performance.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with goals and deliverables.
- Continuously monitor team dynamics and foster a healthy team environment.
- Provide guidance on best practices for Agile project management and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role within a development environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification preferred.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentorship skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate at various levels within the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results and improving processes.
