Overview
The VP of Content creates synergy amongst internal teams, external partners, and client stakeholders to lead the execution of best-in-class branded content programs. Furthermore, the VP Director will utilize their knowledge of content, content strategy, and the advertisement / vendor landscape to build and strengthen top tier content partnerships and leverage the best investment options possible.
Must haves include at least 10 years of relevant experience and a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships amongst internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience within digital media and will be able to bring a strong, creative point-of-view to the table as it relates to creating campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
This role is part of a creative, collaborative team that encourages out-of-the-box thinking, innovation and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with new business and client leads to constantly uncover revenue opportunities
- Work with Finance to lead monthly Revenue Forecasts and the yearly Business Plan
- Valuate and monetize Content offerings across agency and clients
- Lead pricing & content negotiations with media partners
- Develop a strategic consultative practice that drives content revenue while appropriately balancing and prioritizing incoming projects, responsibilities and departmental resources
- Defines the business and brand opportunity for content programming in client media ecosystems
- Creates HX strategy in partnership with Content Creative and media team or works within existing HX strategy
- Participate in SC brainstorms, guiding ideation with proper strategic insights
- Work with Content Creative to write the brief and creative presentation decks for SC and client teams to guide the creation of the content
- In partnership with Content Creative and Content Production, briefs selected production partners
- Adds critical insight to partnerships along with Content Creative and Content Production leads
- Provides client service oversight throughout the process
- Help to create internal and external facing timelines for all phases of content project development and production
- Integrates with the media team to create distribution and optimization strategy
- Integrates with the investment team to optimize content with investment strategy
- Develops measurement strategy for partnerships, focusing on commerce-focused KPIs
- Help develop and enforce SC departmental protocols and procedures
- Lead, manage, mentor and train team

Compensation Range : $156,560 - $246,330 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer / temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
