We are looking for a Full Time Ophthalmic Assistant to join our busy practice. Experienced medical assistants are welcomed to apply. Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate .The job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Experience with EMR, patient history taking, visual acuity, tonometry, fundus photography, visual field testing, OCT testing, A scan and topography, and medical scribing. Experience with contact lens fittings a plus. Experience assisting with in office procedures, such as, intravitreal injections, Yag Capsulatomy, and all minor office procedures is a plus. This position will be 40 hours per week with a requirement of 1 night a month until 7:00 pm with half day Fridays.
Will consider all candidates with medical assisting background also.
