DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair mechanical systems in a sawmill environment.
- Communicates need for major repairs or additions to equipment to appropriate manager.
- Responds in a timely fashion to problems related to facility maintenance and repair.
- Makes recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.
- Maintains a clean, safe working environment.
- Possesses and maintains a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be willing to work some Saturdays
- Two to five years verifiable experience in Maintenance Millwrighting or Construction Millwrighting
- Must have basic hand tools
- Working knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics
- Must have good welding skills
- Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and industrial maintenance
- Must be able to follow all safety protocols
- Ability to work at heights and in inclement weather

- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently required to stand
- Frequently required to walk
- Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Frequently required to lift/push/carry items more than 50 pounds
- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
- Occasionally work in high places
