This is a full-time position with benefits, this is a direct hire opportunity.
What you will do as the Billing Specialist:
- coordinate with Project Managers to obtain contracts and change orders to create invoices
- Review service agreements to create service invoices
- communicate with clients regarding billing and invoice payments
- streamline and improve billing process and improve number of days outstanding
- process a large volume of invoices weekly
- checks accounting data for accuracy
- tracks and resolves accounting errors, and completes accounting functions in accordance
- other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What you will need as the Billing Specialist:
- 3 or more years’ experience processing billing accounts
- Data entry skills and general math skills
- excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- familiarity with credit and collection operations procedures, including reconciliation of A/R activity
- good negotiation skills
