Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for banquets and events
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and handling cash register operations
- Knowledge of retail math for inventory management and pricing calculations is a plus
- Familiarity with banquet and catering operations is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
