What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planner/Scheduler position at Stark Solutions, LLC?
Due to organic company growth, Stark Solutions is looking to add an experienced Production Planner/Scheduler to our dynamic team. The ideal applicant will have production planning experience working in a manufacturing environment, work efficiently and possess a positive attitude & team spirit. Experience with Global Shop or another ERP is preferred.
Work Schedule: Day shifts from Monday – Friday (7am-5pm / 45 hours a week).
Manufacturing environment: shop is an air-conditioned facility on 10-acre site. Competitive wages and benefits.
Essential Job Functions
· · Carry out planning and coordination of production schedules for machining and fabrication departments
· Manage schedules and workflow to ensure that deliverables are made in a timely manner
· Create efficient scheduling processes or methods to attain production goals
· Consult material handling department to ensure team members have appropriate material lined up for work orders
· Collaborate with Inventory Management to avoid shortage in inventory
· Problem Solver: able to handle issues in a way that doesn’t hinder production and delivery
· Work closely with Department Leads to accomplish production goals
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
· Minimum of 2 years ERP experience in a similar position
· ERP Implementation or Global shop experiences a plus
· Must be able to pass background and substance screening
· Must be able to meet organizational performance factors such as safety, quality, attendance, and productivity standards
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Excellent communication skills
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand and work for a minimum of 9-hour shift
· Occasional lifting (up to 50lbs), stretching and bending is required
