What are the responsibilities and job description for the Alert System Installer position at Starkflow?
Our Client is a family-owned and operated company with over 25 years of experience in the health care industry. We are currently seeking a Full-time Technician Installer for our Philadelphia, PA office to join our Medical Alarm Monitoring operations.
Technician Installers are responsible for performing in-home/residential PERS (Personal Emergency Response System) installations, service, and retrieval of Alert Medical Alarms equipment.
Responsibilities for the Technician Installer:
- Delivery, initial setup, and testing of medical alarm units in clients' homes.
- Educate and demonstrate PERS/Med Dispenser equipment and services to clients and caregivers, ensuring comfort in its use and testing procedures.
- Communicate a general understanding of the PERS installation agreement to the client and have them sign the appropriate paperwork.
- Maintain and manage any inventory of equipment delivered to clients' homes by the Operations Manager.
- Occasional evening and/or weekend appointments may be required for emergency service work orders.
- Attend staff and operation meetings.
Requirements for the Technician Installer:
- Must be able to be in a vehicle for most of the day.
- Patience and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and partners.
- Familiarity with PERS, dealer portals, and device portals.
- Ability to work independently with direction.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Tech background is preferred.
- Willing to travel to perform installations.

- 40 hours a week.
