Alert Medical Alarms is a family-owned and operated company with over 25 years of experience in the health care industry. We are currently seeking a Full-time Technician Installer for our Dayton, OH office to join our Medical Alarm Monitoring operations.
Responsible for performing in-home/residential PERS (Personal Emergency Response System) installations, service, and retrieval of Alert Medical Alarms equipment.
Responsibilities for the Technician Installer:
Delivery, initial setup, and testing of medical alarm units in clients' homes.
Educate and demonstrate PERS/Med Dispenser equipment and services to clients and caregivers, ensuring comfort in its use and testing procedures.
Communicate a general understanding of the PERS installation agreement to the client and have them sign the appropriate paperwork.
Follow up with various MCO and SCE agencies regarding installations or services.
Maintain and manage any inventory of equipment delivered to clients' homes by the Operations Manager.
Occasional evening and/or weekend appointments may be required for emergency service work orders.
Attend staff and operation meetings.
Requirements for the Technician Installer:
Must be able to be in a vehicle for most of the day.
Patience and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and partners.
Familiarity with PERS, dealer portals, and device portals.
Ability to work independently with direction.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Tech background is preferred.
Willing to travel to perform installations.

W2 position.
