Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately, including cash handling and managing tabs as required.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Stay informed about menu changes, specials, and promotions to provide the best guest services.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and menu items is beneficial.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is advantageous.
