Sports Operations - Opener/Closer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Facility Operations & Customer Service

• Open and/or Close the building, ensuring all areas are ready for daily operations or properly secured at closing.
• Greet and check in sports clients and fun park guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
• Assist with payments, reservations and phone calls at the front desk.
• Provide fast and friendly service, answering guest inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
• Enforce all complex policies, including court and field safety regulations.

Sports & Event Support

• Set up and tear down sports and event spaces, ensuring timely transitions.
• Transport athletic equipment to and from storage areas as needed
• Ensure all event areas are transitioned at the appropriate times for smooth operations.
• Act as a leader at the sports desk, with occasional assistance in fun park and arcade areas.

Administrative & Financial Duties

• Document and submit a shift report during each shift to maintain communication and safety protocols.
• Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed.
• Support daily operations by completing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Previous customer service, sports facility or event operations experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a physically active role, including lifting and transporting sports equipment.
• Availability to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
