Swimming Pool Service Technician

Stars & Stripes Pool Service is currently seeking to fill a Swimming Pool Service Technician position. Candidates with pool service experience are highly preferred. The position offers a starting hourly wage of $17 to $25, based on experience, in addition to bonuses and a two-week vacation during Christmas. A paid training period is provided, the duration of which will vary based on your prior experience and learning pace. Veterans are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities Include:

• Testing pool/spa water and adjusting chemistry.
• Handling pool chemicals.
• Lifting up to 100Ibs.
• Net debris from pool, brush walls/steps, vacuum debris w/ portable pool vacuum.
• Empty baskets/bags from skimmers, pool sweeps & pump baskets.
• Cleaning pool/spa filters.
• Respecting customers property (take debris w/ you, close/lock gates etc).

Qualifications Include:

• Candidates must be reliable and eager to advance within our company.
• A drug test and background check are required.
• Basic troubleshooting skills are essential.
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently is necessary.
• Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and submit a clean DMV report within one week of the hiring date.
• The position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly demeanor are crucial, as you will represent the company.
• Comfort with dogs and other animals is also required.

Pay:

• $17 - $25 per hour depending on experience
