- Server Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and adherence to enterprise standards.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security enhancements using tools like Red Hat Satellite.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues efficiently to minimize downtime and support business continuity.
- Create "golden images" for consistent deployment and configuration across environments.
- Install and configure Linux OS using Satellite, ISO images, or other standard methods.
- Deploy and manage containers, including containerized applications and services.
- Administer container environments, ensuring stability, security, and scalability.
- Develop automated solutions for routine tasks using Ansible and shell scripting.
- Leverage container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for application deployment and infrastructure orchestration.
- User Account Management
- Create and manage user accounts, including setting up SUDO privileges and secure access controls.
- Define and manage group permissions in accordance with organizational policies.
- Implement security protocols and access policies to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
- System Security
- Enforce SELinux policies to maintain mandatory access controls.
