Complete Description:
This role will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing,
and maintaining integrations between Successfactors Onboarding 2.0, SAP
HCM and our OnBase systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep
understanding of Successfactors Onboarding 2.0, Successfactors
Integration center, SAP HCM, and possibly SAP PO. We are also looking
for someone with strong analytical, communication and problem-solving
skills.
Responsibilities
• Lead the Onboarding 2.0 project in the design, development, and
configuration of integrations between Successfactors Onboarding 2.0, SAP
HCM, and OnBase (Document management system).
• Configure and customize standard integrations provided by SAP and
Successfactors.
• Analyze business requirements and turn those into technical system
specifications for integrations.
• Develop and maintain custom integrations as needed, including
transformation logic and error handling.
• Perform all levels of testing which will include unit, integration,
regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Monitor integrations to ensure performance and stability
• Document all integration processes, configurations, and
troubleshooting steps.
• Train other functional and technical resources on how to maintain
integrations
• Provide support to end-users on integration related issues
• Participate in project planning
• Participate in all project meetings
Description of Duties
1. Be assigned Request Items, Tasks, and Projects to complete in a
self-directed and semi-independent manner.
2. Ensure a mutual understanding of the request and the proposed
approach/response between both the PTC and the Contractor before
beginning work on a request.
3. Coordinate and execute all development aspects including reports,
integrations, interfaces, conversion programs, database design and
creation, and enhancements.
4. Document requirements, or user stories in detail, as determined by
the PTC, within Azure Dev Ops (ADO).
5. Perform technical functions that are within the scope of this
position. These include, but are not limited to configuring, coding,
testing, data loads, and scripting.
6. Document the progress and other details relating to the work being
performed within the appropriate PTC’s system(s) of record.
7. Perform and/or coordinate the Unit, System Integration, User
Acceptance, and other testing as specified by the PTC following the
PTC’s IT Quality Management Playbook (playbook to be provided upon start
of work).
8. Document and demonstrate changes (Showbacks) to stakeholders, as
directed.
9. Work with the PTC system administration team to have the changes code
and peer reviewed then implemented into PROD.
10. Provide documentation and knowledge transfer on the changes, as
requested by the PTC.Plus provide guidance and support to the
application support team, as needed, for troubleshooting issues or
answering questions as directed by the PTC.
11. Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with
technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key
clients.
12. Leads, and participates in project team activities for system work
efforts related to enterprise systems.
13. Ability to work independently to accomplish the tasks and duties
assigned.
14. Adhere to the PTC standards, policies, and procedures.
15. Utilizes various software and/or technology tools to perform job
duties.
16. Perform tasks and other duties as assigned by the PTC.
Education and Experience Requirements
• 5 years of SAP HCM experience and/or Successfactors Onboarding 2.0
experience.
• 5 Years of Successfactors Integration Center experience related to
Onboarding 2.0 or SAP HCM..
• A strong understanding of Employee Central Mini-Master, Onboarding 2.0
portlets, Onboarding 2.0 HRIS Elements.
• Experience working with Successfactors APIs and integrating those
using 3rd party integration systems like Informatica or SAP PO.
• Experience transferring Onboarding data to an external HRIS system
(specifically SAP ECC) is a must have.
• Deep knowledge of Successfactors Onboarding processes.
• Experience using integrations to send documents from Successfactors to
a document management system like OnBase.
• ServiceNow Experience in ITSM, Idea, Project, and Demand module.
• ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office 365 suite including Teams, Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint, plus proficient in Microsoft ADO Testing Module.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science,
Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate effectively with functional and technical
team members.
• Successfactors and/or SAP HCM certifications is a plus.
• Experience working with SAP PO is a plus.
• Experience with ABAP development is a plus.
Engagement Requirements
• Each candidate will be assigned work and will estimate the time needed
to complete the request, task, or project. Then will work with the
assigned the PTC point of contact and determine the number of hours and
schedule needed to complete the work when needed. The PTC will attempt
to provide reasonable notice of when the candidate will be needed.
• Candidate’s location is preferred to be within the Continental United
States.
• Candidates will need to report onsite once per month.
• Successfully complete ePATCH background check, and ClearChecks
National Criminal Background Check prior to engagement start.
• Overtime requests always need to have prior approval of Project
Principal with the rightful reasons for overtime.
• This position is primarily remote; however, this position will require
reporting to the commission headquarters during key phases of the
project - Solution Confirmation, Program Increment Cycles (PI),
Showbacks, System Integration Test Cycles (SITs), User Acceptance Test
(UAT), Go-Live, Immediately Post- Go-Live (Hypercare). Any absence from
sessions requires prior approval from Project Principal. No additional
compensation for any travel required, and rate is inclusive of any
travel costs.
