What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Development Coach position at Start Early?
At Start Early, we are committed to providing high-quality early learning and care services to children and families. We are seeking a qualified Assistant Teacher to join our team and contribute to our mission of closing the opportunity gap and building more equitable early learning experiences.
In this role, you will work closely with our experienced teachers to create a nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with teachers to develop individualized education plans, creating a stimulating classroom environment, and assisting with lesson planning.
You will also schedule and conduct parent-teacher conferences, build relationships with families, and adhere to relevant regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering positive self-images and experiences of success for all children.
A minimum of one year of experience in an early childhood setting is required, preferably with knowledge of Head Start/Preschool for All programs. A Gateway's Level 3 Early Childhood Education credential is required within one year of employment, and a Paraprofessional Educator License is required within three months of hire.
