A well-respected boutique law firm just outside of Newark, NJ, is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join their team. The firm provides comprehensive legal services in family law, child custody, and domestic violence matters, offering compassionate and strategic advocacy for their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in divorce, custody, support, domestic violence, and other family law matters
- Manage cases from initial consultation through resolution, including negotiation, mediation, and trial
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, agreements, and orders
- Conduct legal research and stay up to date on New Jersey family law statutes and case law
- Advocate effectively in court, mediations, and settlement discussions
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in family law (including litigation experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of New Jersey family law and court procedures
- Excellent litigation, negotiation, and case management skills
- Ability to handle a diverse caseload with professionalism and empathy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
