Concrete Finisher/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up concrete forms according to specifications.
• Pour, spread, and finish concrete using hand tools and heavy equipment.
• Restore and repair existing concrete surfaces as needed.
• Operate concrete pumping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks associated with moving materials and equipment on-site.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction roles.
• Familiarity with concrete forming techniques and heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
• Proficient in using hand tools specific to concrete work.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Prior experience on construction sites is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.87 per hour
