Role : Consumer Regulatory Compliance Analyst – Supervisor
Location : 2 Days / week Hybrid in Greenville, SC or Southfield, MI or in Wilmington DE or Mount Laurel NJ or Charlotte, NC or NYC, NY
Duration : 12 months (expected to be a 3 year project)
Must Have’s :
- 7 years’ experience in a compliance testing function specifically around consumer bank products such as Credit Card, Mortgage, etc.
- Needs to have experience reviewing compliance testing and ability to track volumes and quality output
- Need to have regulatory compliance background, must be very heavy in the consumer space. Previous auditors in this space would be considered a plus.
Job Description
This is for the consumer compliance and controls team. They run the gambit in terms of products such as Secured - mortgage, auto, credit cards. They have a QC independent testing function where they look at previous data of month or data from before that to perform compliance and controls testing. Testing to make sure they're in compliance for consumer laws rules and regulations. Can range from wealth, to credit card, etc. anything in the US. They are rolling out a brand new testing program to oversee regulatory requirements from consumer compliance.
Project Details :
Redesigning and implementing from scratch a first line regulatory consumer comp testing program for the entire US. Very complex. Previously their testing program was very different. Have to have a fundamental understanding of testing (how testing methodologies work), regulatory compliance background must be very heavy in the consumer space. Lots of attention on this project.
Products include
CC, Mortgage, Auto Finance, Commercial, and Small Business. Performance is tracked by volume of testing done
From a technology perspective, this team is not using automated tools, currently working on an excel spreadsheet today. Deploying a power app in likely march that will have some automated work flow and longer term (a year from now) automation tool that houses all of their QC testing documents.
Supervisor role : look at the volume and quality, make sure the executors know what they're testing, what they're looking for, etc. Need to be more experienced. Quality needs to be more important than quantity. In office.
