POSITION SUMMARY
The Dispatcher is the frontline representative and image of STAT Courier to incoming callers. The Customer Service Specialist will act as a liaison to the clients and provide a top-quality customer service experience to a diverse customer population. The Customer Service Specialist will respond to incoming calls and emails, as well as make outgoing calls and send emails to coordinate the needs of the customer.

ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS
Primary Functions
- Answer external calls and emails to fulfill customer needs.
- Schedule trips in the most cost-effective manner
- Respond to all inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Escalate emergent situations as needed.
- Assist with administrative work essential to fulfilling customer needs.
- Ensure all required operational, and reporting requirements are completed daily.
- Monitor specific client related activities as assigned.
- Manage trip logs, drivers scanning, and calendar upkeep.
- Accurate data entry and trip scheduling
- Follow-up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction of their requested business needs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Ability to work with both internal and external business partners to contribute to Organizational success
- Effective time management skills to complete assignments and required tasks in a timely manner

- Typing speed of 30 WPM or greater
- Proficient in utilizing technology through computer and web-based tools such as Microsoft and Outlook

- Knowledge of the courier industry and the ability to use proper terminology.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position operates in a professional office environment and corporate policies will apply
- Work from home may be required due to adverse weather conditions or in case of unforeseen business interruptions.

- Will require operation of a computer for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to communicate with others and comprehend instructions.
