Job Overview
As a Relationship Assistant, your role will be to support the Relationship Managers in managing and developing client relationships. You will assist in ensuring exceptional customer service, administrative tasks, and facilitating efficient communication within the bank. Your contributions will be instrumental in strengthening customer relationships and contributing to the bank’s growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Support:
- Assist Relationship Managers in handling customer inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering accurate and timely responses to client inquiries via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
2. Administrative Assistance:
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and maintenance of customer records. This includes but is not limited to loan worksheets and ordering required documentation, such as credit reports, title and lien searches, surveys, and title insurance commitments.
- Prepare and process necessary paperwork related to customer accounts, transactions, and documentation.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of customer files, ensuring all required documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Assists in processing new and renewed loans to include talking with customers, orderings documents, meeting with customers to close the loan, funding loan, collecting related fees, and recording related collateral documents. Reviews documentation to ensure accuracy of loan transactions.
3. Relationship Management Support:
- Assist in coordinating customer meetings, including scheduling.
- Conduct research and gather relevant information to support Relationship Managers in assessing customer needs and identifying potential opportunities.
- Perform loan closing on occasions when Relationship Manager is not available.
4. Internal Communication and Coordination:
- Facilitate effective communication between different internal departments, ensuring smooth coordination and resolution of customer-related issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive work environment.
5. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure adherence to guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client information and documentation.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
