Description
State College Friends School seeks several Summer Programs staff members to help facilitate our dynamic summer programs for children in grades Pre-K through 4. These are seasonal, salaried positions reporting directly to SCFS Administrative staff. Responsibilities will include a pre-season training, daily on-site operational assistance for camps (running June 9th through August 8th, with the exception of the week of June 30th to July 4th).
Mandatory pre-season training session on Saturday, June 7th – 12pm to 3pm
Schedule is daily, 7:30am to 3:00pm or 11:00am to 5:30pm
Camps run June 9 to Aug 8 (except for June 30 to July 4)
- Supervise campers to ensure their safety, development, and well-being
- Exudes fun & energy to engage campers in daily activities
- Assists the Guest Teacher with morning programming
- Creates & leads one 45-minute activity/lesson per day for ages 5 -10 camp
- Manages all snack, meal & recess times
- Communicates all camper needs to the Administrative Assistant
- Afternoon shift also assists with After Camp Care
Requirements

- Flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Clearances for working with children, submitted to SCFS Administrators before May 15, 2025
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 38 per week
