What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rock Climbing Instructor position at State College YMCA?
The State College YMCA is currently accepting applications for a part-time Rock Climbing Instructor. The instructor will lead the participants through appropriate rock climbing techniques providing personalized attention where necessary, clear and concise instruction, and motivation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Instruct rock climbing participants while assessing each individual’s ability.
- Provide instruction while maintaining high safety standards.
- Convey a positive attitude personalize relationships with members.
- Assist staff in responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Must possess excellent knowledge in the areas of rock climbing.
- Training, education, experience, or certification in a related field.
