JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Learning & Development Manager, this role is responsible for facilitating Instructor Led Training (ILT) and Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) covering a broad range of topics for all staff of the credit union. Key responsibilities include designing and delivering training to adult learners, overseeing all aspects of facilitating a training course/class, assisting with measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of training, and establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with all credit union staff and departments.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
- Must be a leader (both formal and informal) that sets the standard and expectations by example in conduct, work ethic, integrity, and character.
- Able to deliver and motivate trainees through effective engagement, both in group and individual settings, as well as inside and outside of the classroom.
- Manage the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of internal training programs, as well as external learning opportunities across the organization in support of organizational goals and needs.
- Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
- Conduct specific training needs assessments to support the design, development, and implementation of training programs and strategies.
- Partner with department subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop training, outline deliverables, evaluate risk and compliance, and ensure training meets or exceeds standards.
- Proactively work with credit union leadership to identify and resolve issues.
- Create high quality training that is within budget and that meets assigned deadlines.
- Effectively manage and facilitate all assigned training courses and assist with any program as assigned.
- Understand compliance requirements as they relate to credit unions and training including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and its major components (CIP, Patriot Act, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver training utilizing a systematic approach to meet established objectives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Superior organizational skills
- High attention-to-detail with an emphasis on work quality
- Superior member service skills (both internal and external members)
- Experienced with some combination of operating a learning management system (LMS), building and delivering eLearning/virtual content, and/or experience using content creation and delivery software (e.g. Articulate 360, RISE, Storyline, PowerPoint or similar)
- Job Related Travel - As required
Education/Experience:
- Education or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field, in addition to at least one (1) year of relevant job experience.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Some standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending and lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate credit union facilities.
