Job Description:
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to ensure each customer is satisfied with their experience. The Customer Service Representative will act as a liaison, service and support for our customers. Their key role is to provide high-quality information, solutions and guidance to their customers.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for our customers, answering inquiries and providing information about our insurance products and services.
- Assist customers in making changes to their policies, processing claims, and resolving any issues or concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update policy information as necessary.
- Collaborate with our sales team to cross-sell and upsell insurance products based on customer needs and preferences.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by handling customer complaints and providing effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with insurance industry trends, products, and services to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in customer service or a related field is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and connect with customers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging customer situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications.
- Must obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license within a specified timeframe (if not already licensed).
