Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced New Jersey PIP Attorney to join our team in Summit, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience handling PIP cases from inception to conclusion and be proficient in Forthright arbitration rules.

Key Responsibilities

• Handles litigation and other legal assignments in accordance with guidelines established by the Law Department.
• Manages a high-volume caseload of PIP matters in both Forthright Arbitration Forum and Superior Court.
• Handles cases from inception through discovery, motion practice, and trial in a fast-paced environment committed to quality of work.

Requirements

• J.D. from an A.B.A. Accredited Law School with excellent academic credentials.
• Active law license to practice in New Jersey and membership in good standing with the State Bar of New Jersey.
• Ability to work efficiently with cases in electronic form and proficiency in Case Management and Document Storage systems.

Additional Details

• Applicants must be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately.
• State Farm attorneys are not permitted to handle any legal business outside of State Farm and candidates must cease all outside practice and suit involvement before joining State Farm.
• Travel via personal or commercial transportation to job-related activities is an essential function.
• Irregular hours may be required.
