Responsibilities:
Overview:

The Central Coordination Group is seeking an analyst for their Resource Allocation (RA) Team.

The Resource Allocation team is responsible for staffing of weather and non-weather claim activity. Your day may involve deploying members of our AWC and WCCS Deployable workforce, as well as Catastrophe Vehicles, in response to weather events across the country. You will monitor resource capacity for weather events by reviewing claims dashboards and through review of claim segment capacity.

During large scale weather events you will be responsible for providing event forecasting and coordination, and overseeing deployments to orientation centers. Additionally, you will manage the Retiree Assist Programs to provide additional capacity. Your ability to communicate to all levels of leadership are key as you work with many different business areas including, Claims Training, ECLM, Licensing, Telephony, CA&P, other teams within CCG and claims leadership.

This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while building and maintaining relationships with claims leaders in all claim segments.

The role requires the ability to work extended business hours as needed to support Claims Execution. This may require the individual to work staggered shifts covering 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday-Friday depending on business needs. Team rotates on-call responsibilities, on weekends, & holidays. Hours of operation are continually evaluated and may change based on business need. Successful candidates are able and willing to work flexible work shifts and may be asked to work overtime and/or irregular hours. The initial shift for this position will be 9:00 – 5:15 PM CT.

This position is housed in Bloomington, IL and the selected candidate will report to the Corporate Headquarters during their hybrid hours, currently 1 week per month.

This is an overtime eligible position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides operational support to the Enterprise through demand coordination, deployment of resources, and reporting
  • Provides enterprise reporting of catastrophe related data in support of operational response
  • Monitors, analyzes, and makes recommendations on staffing, resources allocation and load balancing needs, including those for catastrophe and other volatility events
  • Serve as an internal and external technical resource for matters related to engagements as needed
  • Builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders to develop, maintain, and execute on Enterprise response plans
  • Participates in the development, maintenance, and execution of response plans for catastrophe and other volatility events

  • May be assigned to demand coordination, deployment responsibilities, or external resource vendor responsibilities
  • May travel to any location where the Company does business
  • Job may require travel overnight via commercial transportation or driving motor vehicles to any office locations where the Company does business, or other locations to conduct/attend training, conferences, meetings, and/or seminars
  • Must complete all applicable training and education courses
  • May be required to work additional hours, overtime hours, or non-standard hours, including varying work shifts, nights, weekends and holidays, based on workload and as the operation dictates
Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of AWC/WCCS Deployed and In-office claim operations
  • Understanding the use of internal and external claim resources
  • Communicates clearly with all levels of leadership
  • Ability to recommend and influence best staffing decisions
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Innovative and enjoys process improvement
  • Intermediate Excel skills preferred along with the ability to analyze data and make recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with completed staff work and meeting deadlines
  • Prior experience in AWC/WCCS Deployed is preferred, but not required.
