Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our team! The ideal candidate will be someone who is interested in learning more about craft bartending, and motivated to grow into a larger role with us. Weekend availability is required - typical schedule will be Friday and Saturday evenings from 4 - 10, 11, or 12. Compensation includes hourly plus tip share.
Duties
- Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, garnishes, and glassware as needed.
- Help manage inventory by tracking stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen and bar areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the hospitality or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Must be able to lift heavy items as needed and maintain stamina throughout shifts.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
