The Marketing Communications Manager leads the planning and execution of marketing initiatives aimed at increasing market share, sales, and profit growth, while achieving company goals. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, this role is responsible for integrated communications and promotional programs across multiple media touchpoints. The Marketing Communications Manager oversees a team of marketers and collaborates closely with peers in the Digital Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Creative Services teams. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team responsible for internal and external communications, sales collateral, social media, event planning, and content production.
- Develop and execute marketing communications plans to deliver strategic programs and messages to the sales team and customers.
- Coordinate and manage content and logistics for in-person and remote events for the sales and sales management teams, with support from direct reports.
- Create marketing materials in collaboration with the visual media team, clearly articulating service and product features, benefits, and value propositions through differentiated messaging.
- Collaborate with product management to drive product marketing and branding decisions.
- Identify and pursue PR and earned media opportunities.
- Ensure consistent brand standards across all deliverables.
- Conduct controlled deployments and market tests to assess the alignment of new products and services with market needs.
- Develop strong relationships and feedback processes to measure and monitor the success of programs and activities.
- Perform administrative functions such as budgeting, performance reviews, and salary administration.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all marketing communications.
- Optimize departmental efficiency by instituting or modifying policies and procedures.
