This position is currently located in Juneau. The position may be in Anchorage or Juneau , depending upon the location of the most qualified candidate.
What you will be doing :
This critical financial management position offers an opportunity to learn and grow. In this role, you will ensure grant solicitations and awards comply with required laws, regulations, and policies and provide technical assistance by working directly with grantees and stakeholders that support the delivery of health-related grant programs in Alaska. You will have your own portfolio of grants to manage and will be responsible for supervising, training, and supporting our team of grant administrators. You'll participate in strategic planning within the Grants and Contracts team to ensure the team is effectively communicating with various Department of Health program managers, grantees, and other stakeholders. Your role requires strong writing skills, critical thinking, public engagement interest, effective communication skills, and a desire to learn and grow while ensuring Alaskans have access to necessary services and support.
